Searching for, trying and buying gluten free bread mixes is kind of frustrating if you haven’t found one that you like. Many of them come out too dense, have problems rising, and just don’t satisfy. Many people who have to eat a gluten-free diet are always looking for that bread mix that gets as close as possible to the original.

And, why not… bread is delicious.

Don’t feel discouraged though because I have gone through this same process and wanted to share with you some of my favorite gluten-free bread mixes.

#1 Gluten Free Pantry – French Bread and Pizza Mix

This mix is very good. It has a light and fluffy texture and really does taste like french bread. Perfect pizza crust flavor as well.

#2 Pamela’s Products – Wheat-Free Bread Mix

This is my favorite bread mix to use for gluten free cinnamon bread. The texture is light and fluffy, and the taste is a little bit sweeter than usual. I would not use this for a savory bread. Rather, keep it for adding cranberries, or whatever you want to give it your favorite flavor.

#3 Bob’s Red Mill – Homemade Wonderful Bread Mix

This is more of a savory mix. I add cheese to make a yummy cheese bread and also use it for croutons and sandwiches. Makes a good grilled cheese.
